Inflation of Central African Countries (1960-2017)

Between 1990 and 2002, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola had the worst inflation rate for consumer prices among central African countries. The inflation rate of Democratic Republic of the Congo went as high as 23,773.13% in 1994. That's pretty high and signals to the years of conflict, and the political and economic turmoils faced by Democratic Republic of Congo under President Mobutu Sese Seko. The Inflation of Angola also went as high as 4,145.11% in 1996, which also signals to the repercussions of the years of war and political turmoil in Angola.
