Infant Mortality of East African Countries (1960-2017)

Mauritius and Seychelles had the two lowest infant Mortality compared to other countries in East Africa. Rwanda had one of the greatest improvement in infant Mortality after recording a high reversal in infant mortality in 1994. In 2017, Rwanda's infant mortality was 28.9, the third lowest in East Africa, after Mauritius and Seychelles which recorded 11.6 and 12.2 respectively. Somalia had the worst infant mortality in East Africa between 2003 and 2017.
