According to the World Bank, in 2013, the top 3 African countries with high net exports of goods and services in current US$ (i.e. total exports of goods and services in current US$ minus total imports of goods and services in current US$) are: Nigeria (26.27B US$), Angola (19.59B US$), and Libya (10.13B US$).

Conversely, in 2013, the top 3 African countries with high net imports of goods and services in current US$ (i.e. total imports of goods and services in current US$ minus total exports of goods and services in current US$ ) are: Egypt (18.28B US$), Morocco (15.45B US$), and South Africa (8.49B US$).

The World Bank defines exports of goods and services as "the value of all goods and other market services provided to the rest of the world" , and defines imports of goods and services as "the value of all goods and other market services received from the rest of the world".
