New York Household Income Distribution in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 7,530,150 households, there were 974,205 households (12.94%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 676,774 households (8.99%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.
On the other hand, there were 2,149,537 households (28.55%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 493,418 households (6.55%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
