Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Idaho was 11.37%.

By Race: The Native Hawaiian & Pac. Islander Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Idaho (32.14%), followed by American Indian & Alaska Native Alone (25.82%), and Black Alone (24.58%). The racial group with the lowest poverty rate was White Alone (10.59%).
