Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Connecticut was 10.03%. Among all Connecticut cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Storrs CDP had the highest poverty rate (45.41%), followed by Willimantic CDP (30.72%), and Hartford city (28.43%). On the other hand, the following 3 cities and places had the lowest poverty rate: Orange CDP (2.34%), Milford city (balance) (4.09%), and Naugatuck borough (4.88%).
