Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Nevada was 12.88%. Among all Nevada cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Winchester CDP had the highest poverty rate (23.34%), followed by Sunrise Manor CDP (22.05%), and Whitney CDP (18.06%). On the other hand, the following 3 cities and places had the lowest poverty rate: Dayton CDP (3.64%), Spanish Springs CDP (5.57%), and Gardnerville Ranchos CDP (5.85%).
