Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Florida was 13.11%. Among all Florida counties, Hamilton County had the highest poverty rate (26.39%), followed by Hardee County (26.23%), and Hendry County (25.89%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Wakulla County (6.19%), St. Johns County (7.65%), and Sarasota County (8.14%).
