Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Georgia was 13.92%. Among all Georgia counties, Lanier County had the highest poverty rate (34.09%), followed by Treutlen County (32.06%), and Randolph County (30.69%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Oconee County (4.67%), Forsyth County (5.28%), and Fayette County (5.41%).
