Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Indiana was 12.5%. Among all Indiana counties, Monroe County had the highest poverty rate (21.83%), followed by Delaware County (20.57%), and Switzerland County (20.55%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Hamilton County (3.96%), Hancock County (4.81%), and Union County (5.07%).
