Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Missouri was 12.77%. Among all Missouri counties, Pemiscot County had the highest poverty rate (27.5%), followed by Oregon County (25.4%), and Wayne County (23.64%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: St. Charles County (4.71%), Platte County (5.98%), and Andrew County (7.45%).
