Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for North Carolina was 13.67%. Among all North Carolina counties, Robeson County had the highest poverty rate (27.27%), followed by Halifax County (26.24%), and Scotland County (26.08%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Camden County (6.24%), Dare County (6.81%), and Union County (7.18%).
