Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Ohio was 13.35%. Among all Ohio counties, Athens County had the highest poverty rate (25.48%), followed by Scioto County (23.82%), and Meigs County (20.08%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Delaware County (4.6%), Union County (4.72%), and Warren County (4.82%).
