Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Pennsylvania was 11.8%. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Philadelphia County had the highest poverty rate (22.82%), followed by Centre County (17.18%), and Forest County (16.74%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Bucks County (5.51%), Montgomery County (5.93%), and Chester County (6.05%).
