Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for Tennessee was 14.28%. Among all Tennessee counties, Hancock County had the highest poverty rate (29.12%), followed by Lake County (27.76%), and Clay County (24.04%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Williamson County (3.9%), Moore County (7.99%), and Wilson County (8.37%).
