US Household Income Distribution for the Black or African American Alone Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 15,219,807 of the Black or African American Alone households in the US, there were 566,859 households (3.72%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 673,716 households (4.43%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.
On the other hand, there were 6,705,287 households (44.06%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 1,336,059 households (8.78%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
