Among all South Carolina counties, Dillon County had the highest poverty rate (31.16%), followed by Barnwell County (29.99%), and Marlboro County (28%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: York County (9.18%), Beaufort County (10.13%), and Greenville County (11.2%).
