According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for Virginia in 2017 Q2 was $1,046. Among all Virginia counties, Arlington County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,608), followed by Goochland County ($1,577), and Fairfax County ($1,541). On the other hand, Mathews County had the lowest average weekly wage ($536), followed by Appomattox County ($537), and Patrick County ($547).
