According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2013 Q2 was $921. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,577), followed by Massachusetts ($1,131), and Connecticut ($1,127).

On the other hand, Idaho had the lowest average weekly wage ($682), followed by South Dakota ($689), and Mississippi ($691).
