According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q2, the average weekly wage for Alabama was $620. Among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($824), followed by Madison County ($788), and Choctaw County ($759).

On the other hand, Geneva County had the lowest average weekly wage ($400), followed by Perry County ($421), and Tallapoosa County ($431).
