According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alabama was $717. Among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($901), followed by Madison County ($891), and Choctaw County ($890).

On the other hand, Geneva County had the lowest average weekly wage ($451), followed by Perry County ($488), and Tallapoosa County ($490).
