According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alabama was $739. Among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.01K), followed by Madison County ($917), and Jefferson County ($912).

On the other hand, Geneva County had the lowest average weekly wage ($465), followed by Fayette County ($493), and Perry County ($507).
