According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alabama was $737. Among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($996), followed by Madison County ($932), and Jefferson County ($891).

On the other hand, Geneva County had the lowest average weekly wage ($490), followed by Fayette County ($493), and Randolph County ($499).
