According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Alaska was $797. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1.41K), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($1.01K), and Northwest Arctic Borough ($852).

On the other hand, Denali Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($565), followed by Haines Borough ($586), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough ($611).
