According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alaska was $886. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1.72K), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($1.10K), and Denali Borough ($1.06K).

On the other hand, Lake and Peninsula Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($528), followed by Hoonah-Angoon Borough ($556), and Wrangell City and Borough ($561).
