According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alaska was $912. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1.80K), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($1.18K), and Denali Borough ($1.12K).

On the other hand, Lake and Peninsula Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($529), followed by Hoonah-Angoon Borough ($603), and Wrangell City and Borough ($607).
