According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q1, the average weekly wage for Alaska was $1.30K. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($2.71K), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Census Area ($1.59K), and Aleutians West Census Area ($1.55K).
On the other hand, Kusilvak Census Area had the lowest average weekly wage ($699), followed by Lake and Peninsula Borough ($789), and Haines Borough ($842).
