According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q4, the average weekly wage for Arkansas was $707. Among all Arkansas counties, Little River County had the highest average weekly wage ($881), followed by Calhoun County ($856), and Pulaski County ($847).

On the other hand, Newton County had the lowest average weekly wage ($426), followed by Cleveland County ($428), and Searcy County ($439).
