According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for California was $994. Among all California counties, San Mateo County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.79K), followed by Santa Clara County ($1.52K), and San Francisco County ($1.51K).

On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($530), followed by Trinity County ($551), and Mariposa County ($557).
