According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q1, the average weekly wage for Florida was $630. Among all Florida counties, Duval County had the highest average weekly wage ($714), followed by Palm Beach County ($714), and Miami-Dade County ($692).

On the other hand, DeSoto County had the lowest average weekly wage ($404), followed by Madison County ($408), and Lafayette County ($414).
