According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Illinois was $833. Among all Illinois counties, Lake County had the highest average weekly wage ($936), followed by Cook County ($930), and DuPage County ($927).

On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest average weekly wage ($401), followed by Henderson County ($429), and Pike County ($433).
