According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q2, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $614. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($739), followed by Muscatine County ($715), and Linn County ($713).

On the other hand, Wayne County had the lowest average weekly wage ($429), followed by Obrien County ($435), and Audubon County ($438).
