According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q3, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $641. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($793), followed by Linn County ($764), and Johnson County ($706).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($428), followed by Wayne County ($435), and Audubon County ($442).
