According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q1, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $662. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($860), followed by Linn County ($775), and Muscatine County ($752).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($435), followed by Calhoun County ($437), and Wayne County ($441).
