According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q2, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $639. Among all Iowa counties, Jasper County had the highest average weekly wage ($825), followed by Polk County ($780), and Linn County ($737).

On the other hand, Jackson County had the lowest average weekly wage ($429), followed by Audubon County ($455), and Calhoun County ($457).
