According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $710. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($904), followed by Linn County ($834), and Muscatine County ($808).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($471), followed by Audubon County ($487), and Monona County ($493).
