According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q2, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $683. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($822), followed by Linn County ($792), and Muscatine County ($775).

On the other hand, Audubon County had the lowest average weekly wage ($486), followed by Jackson County ($491), and Decatur County ($492).
