According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q3, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $696. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($831), followed by Linn County ($825), and Johnson County ($788).
On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($460), followed by Monona County ($494), and Keokuk County ($500).
