According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q4, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $755. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($905), followed by Linn County ($896), and Dallas County ($846).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($496), followed by Ringgold County ($519), and Wayne County ($526).
