According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q3, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $694. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($831), followed by Linn County ($801), and Monroe County ($797).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($483), followed by Audubon County ($505), and Monona County ($506).
