According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2010 Q1, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $706. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($895), followed by Dallas County ($880), and Linn County ($813).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($479), followed by Calhoun County ($497), and Adair County ($501).
