According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011 Q1, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $737. Among all Iowa counties, Dallas County had the highest average weekly wage ($998), followed by Polk County ($939), and Linn County ($848).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($492), followed by Audubon County ($521), and Adair County ($528).
