According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2014 Q2, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $780. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($920), followed by Dallas County ($898), and Linn County ($894).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($529), followed by Jackson County ($563), and Allamakee County ($571).
