According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2017 Q3, the average weekly wage for Iowa was $855. Among all Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.01K), followed by Linn County ($966), and Johnson County ($964).

On the other hand, Van Buren County had the lowest average weekly wage ($614), followed by Decatur County ($628), and Jackson County ($632).
