According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Kansas was $662. Among all Kansas counties, Johnson County had the highest average weekly wage ($811), followed by Wyandotte County ($770), and Sedgwick County ($729).

On the other hand, Decatur County had the lowest average weekly wage ($348), followed by Elk County ($348), and Comanche County ($359).
