According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Kansas was $736. Among all Kansas counties, Johnson County had the highest average weekly wage ($938), followed by Coffey County ($869), and Sedgwick County ($834).

On the other hand, Elk County had the lowest average weekly wage ($356), followed by Comanche County ($379), and Osborne County ($390).
