According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q3, the average weekly wage for Kentucky was $693. Among all Kentucky counties, Hancock County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.01K), followed by Trimble County ($895), and Ballard County ($867).

On the other hand, Estill County had the lowest average weekly wage ($448), followed by Wolfe County ($451), and Owsley County ($452).
