According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q4, the average weekly wage for Louisiana was $627. Among all Louisiana counties, St. Charles Parish had the highest average weekly wage ($850), followed by Iberville Parish ($806), and Plaquemines Parish ($781).

On the other hand, West Carroll Parish had the lowest average weekly wage ($388), followed by Catahoula Parish ($401), and Franklin Parish ($403).
