According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Louisiana was $685. Among all Louisiana counties, Plaquemines Parish had the highest average weekly wage ($911), followed by St. Charles Parish ($903), and St. Bernard Parish ($886).

On the other hand, Franklin Parish had the lowest average weekly wage ($416), followed by Catahoula Parish ($420), and Avoyelles Parish ($445).
