According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maine was $588. Among all Maine counties, Sagadahoc County had the highest average weekly wage ($680), followed by Cumberland County ($663), and York County ($597).
On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($437), followed by Aroostook County ($479), and Washington County ($491).
